A French municipal delegation visited the municipality of Bsharri, the Cedars Forest, the Gibran Museum and Qadisha

Within the framework of cooperation between the Municipality of Bcharreh and the Environmental Preservation Authority, the French Mayor of Neuilly and the Vice-President of the Federation of Paris Municipalities, Mr. Jean-Christophe Frumonen, accompanied by the President of the Friendship Association Lebanon – Neuilly, Mr. Carlos Faddoul, visited the Bcharre Municipality Palace, where he was received by the Mayor of Bcharre, Fradi Keyrouz, Deputy Mayor of Bsharri Joseph Al-Fakhry, Chairman of the Environment Preservation Authority Dr. Youssef Touq, members of the Municipal Council and municipality administrators.

They discussed the affairs of the two municipalities and means of cooperation, especially on the environmental level and on the cultural and social levels. After the meeting, a tour started with the nurseries of the Friends of the Cedar Forest Committee, where they were received by the Committee’s Chairman, Antoine Gabriel Tawk, and the engineer Qozhaya Tawk, then they moved to the Cedars of God forest, where Fromonin and the accompanying delegation planted a cedar in its surroundings, and then visited the Gibran Khalil Gibran Museum in Bsharri from Then the Qadisha Valley.

In conclusion, the municipality of Bcharre held a luncheon in honor of Frumonen and the accompanying delegation.
